I have a Canon EOS D60 and have had it for years…. Bought it new…. And honestly had no idea it ever needed firmware updating, so I’m waaaaay behind. Do I need to start at the beginning and load every update from the version currently in it to the latest one, or will the latest one contain everything I need????? Thank You, ANY help with this question would be appreciated.

In reply to Tracy Hufschmid. The problem could be related to a number of different factors. My suggestion would be to contact Tamron for advice. Alternatively take it to a camera store or Canon service for assistance. It could also be as simple as dirty contacts on the back of your Tamron lens or camera on the body where the lens attaches.

I had my cannon eos 1100 cleaned and ever since it will not read my tamron zoom lens. Someone suggested this my be due to a firmware update being done. Is this possible, and if so, how do I fix it???
