I got out on the beach and my lens was fogged up. I missed the shot, but someone noticed and told me to put my camera in a zip lock bag before taking it from my room to outside. Give it a few minutes to acclimate and remove from the bag to use. I do this every time and there is no fog.

I saw a photographer on the beach one day and asked if her lens fogs up she said yes and uses the lens wipes. I tried it and worked great. After years of this issue I am a happy photographer

Tobacco? Interesting, never heard of that one. I’m going to have to give that a try this winter.

Most computer hardware comes with several bags of the stuff. In fact these days, you’ll find them with a LOT of products, regardless of what they are.

Go to your local shoe shop and ask them if they have any lying around. I got around 60 of the sachets in various sizes from mine. I’m assuming they’re put in shoeboxes to keep moisture away from the leather.

likely not cleaning it right, or tiny scratches in the lenses. Also check the back end of the lens and make sure that section of the glass is clean.

Put camera and lenses in thin plastic bag before leaving cold places.
Wait till they heat-up (holding in hand speeds up process). Once you fill all elements are not cold take them out of plastic bag.
